Gus graduated from the University of Montana, Missoula, with a B.S. in wildlife biology. During and after college, he was a leader for the trail crews in Glacier National park. Gus would spend up to seventy days living in the backcountry during the summers. This hard work gave Gus a profound understanding of nature and wildlife.
Gus spent his first year with MPG working with the field crew. Gus was promoted to “the Tech. Team”, were he maintains the Buckeye camera network, the live camera network, Internet network on the ranch, along with other remote camera and photography projects. Gus also helps out fellow scientist with projects when needed. Gus enjoys spending time with family, camping, floating, archery hunting, biking, and training Jiu-Jitsu.
