Winter Eagle with Raptor View Research

Twelve years ago, we began a collaboration with Raptor View Research Institute (RVRI) focused on learning about migration routes and causes of mortality in Golden Eagles. RVRI’s work has appeared in two papers in Science, 7 other peer-reviewed publications, Mike McTee’s book (Wilted Wings above), conference presentations, and outreach efforts that reach thousands of students annually.
