Field Note 08-26-12

Fires are burning to the south and southwest of the Ranch.

Our ecosystem need rain.

Shore birds eat from receding shorelines.

A large brown trout eats trapped smaller fish.

The field crew collects invasive and native seeds.

Birds are collecting seeds as well.

Soybeans are growing well.

Squashes are growing well.

Beavers gnaw cottonwoods.

Sunflowers boast their beauty.
